We live in southern Maryland about 65 miles southeast of Washington DC near where the Patuxent and Potomac Rivers meet the Chesapeake Bay in an area that is rapidly changing from beautiful rural farmland and forests to run-of-the-mill housing developments. Still, there is a little time left to enjoy Nature before the housing industry completely gobbles it up. The back of our home faces into a deep wooded ravine which is home to dozens of species of birds. We think it's a nice little place to come home to. Friends are always welcome!
