I was a birdwatcher even back in my N60 days - did a fair bit of watching around Nepal. Now it's mostly what I do for vacations. Went out chasing a visiting gyrfalcon a couple of weeks ago, got a nice look but no picture - same with a redpoll that's been hanging out in a local park this winter. I've even started keeping a "photo life-list" ( www.klhalliday.com/lifelist/birds/index.htm). |
